Pictures of Jaipur, India

Jaipur, also known as the Pink City is an exotic ancient city filled with century old palaces, forts, buzzing markets and restaurants. Situated in the North West of India, Jaipur lures thousands of vacation makers from every walk of life to enjoy its rich history, culture and traditions. If you are a history buff, Jaipur is a must visit for you.

Some cool pictures of Jaipur from my Trip:

Amer Fort also known as Amber Fort is located around 10 kilometers from Jaipur.

Amer Fort: Sort of a Court Yard. Where the King would address his subjects

The Kitchen Garden of Amer Fort (Below).

View of the area from the Hawa Palace (Air Palace): Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The design was inspired by the crown of Lord Krishna.

Jaipur City Palace: One of Jaipur’s most famous attraction, Jaipur City Palace is a fine example of Rajput’s art and architecture.

Jaipur truly is an extra-ordinary city. Even while strolling along the city’s bustling markets and neighborhoods, you can still sense the enchanting fragrances of its past. Apart from sightseeing, the city is also an amazing place to buy leather goods. The best time to visit Jaipur is during winters, from late-October to March. But if you are on a tight budget, come during the summers. This is the time when you will find everything from hotel rooms to restaurants the cheapest. If you are visiting Jaipur, don’t forget your sunscreen cause its pretty hot here.
